Mongla college is situated at Mongla port municipality of Mongla Upazila sadar in the district of Bagerhat. Sundarbans, the largest Mangrove Forest in the World is adjacent to Mongla.It is one of the best Colleges in Bagerhat District. This College was established in 1981. Three levels of students such as intermediate, Degree (pass) and Honours course study here. There are about 1500 students. Honours course in two subjects (Accounting and Political science) started since 2011-2012 session. There is a large and individual Library where students and teachers study to make better preparation regularly. There are also a Science laboratory and a Computer Lab.where students can learn and practise easily. In front of this college there is a big Play ground and big pond.
