Digral Degree College came into being at Digraj, adjacent to the Mongla Port, on August 02, 1988 with the earnest efforts of several enlightened and learned persons who wanted to impart higher education to the children of the impoverished common people of the locality. The institution gets recognition at the Higher Secondary level for the first time from Jessore Education Board in 1992. Within a very short period of time, the college fame in the field of Education, Sports and Culture. The4 college gets enlisted under the MPO for the first time in 1993.
Digral Degree College gets first affiliation from the National University , Bangladesh in 2002 and gets promoted to degree level. At present the result of this college both at Higher Secondary and at Degree level is highly satisfactory .
Last of all, the institution gets permission from Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka, to admit students at HSC (Business Management) level, session 2013, and impart them education.
The teachers and all the associates of the college are very cordial and always try their level best to uplift the prestige of the institution along with the development of the internal atmosphere of the institution.
