A brief history of the college Bagerhat district is the sacred place of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali ® .Morelgonj Upazila is in the south-East side of this district. A River of Pangusi passes through this Upazilla. For various reasons, this famous Upazilla is bearing its reputation. The people of this area had a plenty of rice, fishes, crops and cattle. Here people were leading their lives in peace, harmony and happiness. They were also renowned for their pospitality, softness and heart felt love. But there was no institution for higher education. For the establishment of an institution of higher education, Learned and outstanding Dr. Hironmay Halder, Al-Hazz Dr. Mozammel Hossen, parliament member of Bagerhat-4. This college was approved by Jessore Board in 1999 and it came under MPO in 2004. In 2016 this college was approved by the National University for Degree.
