Before 1991 there was no college in the sourrounding of 10-12 kilometres on the other hand, this area is situated 16 km. away from Upa-Zila & district HQ.and the communication was not well.After passing the ssc exam.maximum students were being dropped out and deprived from higher education.Specially female education was completely stopped.In this situation some interested in education persons in this area decided to establish a higher educational institution.Thus Mirzapur United Degree College set out it's voyage.The college is affiliated in 1994-1995 session,listed under mpo in 1996,degree affiliated in the session 2005-2006.As it is remote area,the poor & unwell to do students are being educated day by day.I do believe firmly that to build digital Bangladesh this college will play a vital role.
