"Bisharkandi Shere Bangla Degree College" was established in 1999 by the help and operation of the leading persons of the area.The institution is situated in the village of Morichbunia Union of Bisharkandi,Upazilla-Banaripara,Barisal,It is established mainly to spread the way of education of the poor rural students who are deprived of education. The founder of the college is Mr.Md. Azizul Haque(Rt govt.servicer) who is the citizen of this area.At present five hundred and fifty three students are on studying in the college.To spread higher education the contribution of the college is remarkable.
