Satbaria Degree College is situated in a solitary ,fertile and ever green village of Satbaria under Beltoil union parishad in Shahjadpur in the district of Sirajganj .The upozilla sadar and Shahzadpur Govt. College is 8 km away from this village .The communication between these places in scarcely convenient till now .Consequently the young students were deprived of higher education in the past .In order to make higher education available for the village students ,some education loving and social workers established this institution on 1st July ,1993. In the truest sense of the term ,this college was established mainlu for female education on the general girls could not go to Shahjadpur crossing so long a distance . After that ,on 1st July 1995 ,BA,BSS and BBS couscous were opened . From then onwards , this college is going on its course successfully .
