Santahar Govt. College is situated at Adamdighi Upazila in Bogra Distract, adjacent to Santahar Railway junction which is 41 kilometers away form the town of Bogra. The college was set up in 1967 and was then nationalized in 1988. The main purpose of the institution was to create new areas of knowledge and disseminate the earned knowledge to the society through its students. The number of students has been increasing rapidly from its inception. Presently about two thousand students are enrolled in Higher secondary and Degree Levels. It covers 15.61 acres area of land of which the main campus is dressed up with an Administrative, an Arts, a Science and Biological Science Buildings. The institution has been playing an important role to upgrade knowledge in nation- building.
