In July 01, 1969 Domar Government College was established by some social reformers with a view to promoting the overall condition specially the education in the area. Higher Education was affiliated in 16/07/1970 having some subjects in Science, Arts & Commerce. It was Nationalized in 1987 by a Presidential Declaration. Since then it has been serving the noble purpose of spreading the light of education and removing the darkness of illiteracy as a Government Institution. Degree Course was affiliated under Rajshahi University in 01/07/1979. Then the activities of degree course was handed over to the National University and still being operated successfully. Honors Course on Political Science is initiated from the session 2013-2014 under the affiliation of National University and 8(eight) other subjects is under process of being opened.
