Pahartali College is popularly known as Pahartali University College is one of the oldest colleges in Bangladesh and a leading one at Chittagong. It was established in 1965, Located at Wireless, Khulshi, surrounded by hillocks which creates a congenial atmosphere for curricular and co-curricular activities. Pahartali College In respect
(From Zero to an Ocean)
The college launched its journey as the night college since 1965. Classes were held in the Railway High School near Pahartali post office. From the historical perspective Mr. Sanwar Ali of Railway Board and Mr. Sayed Zalal are regarded as the founding chairman and secretary respectively. The management is grateful for their outstanding contribution for the welfare of the college.
In 1973 Railway Board handed over 3 acres of land to the college authority. Hence a new era of development began in the history of college. Later on additional 3.28 acres of land was leased to the college as agricultural land.
In 1980 the college was shifted to wireless, khulshi and started functioning as fulltime Day College. During his long tenure of service, Principal Mohammed Abdul Majed played a vital role in designing the inlays and constructing the college building.
Now the college is one of the spectacular colleges in Bangladesh. Architecturally, it is a magnificent 3 storied
