A Brief History of “Rabeya Ali Mohila Degree College” Purbadhala, Netrakona. The College (RAMC) mentioned above was established as the name of a person in 1994. Mr. Alhaz Doctor Mohammad Ali, a ‘Member of the parliament’ of that period and a renowned intellectual realized that under this Upzila, there was no ‘Higher Educational Institution’ for women. Hence he took a drastic initiative cordially and founded this college by donating his own land property-3 acres and also provided necessary finance. After that in 1995 the college got its appellation for the eleventh class and was included as MPO for the first time in 2001. In the education session 2002-2003, the college again got its appellation from the ‘National University’ and was promoted up to the class of Degree (Pass) on June 17, 2006. At present, the college is being led by an iron hand with well reputation as well as good results.
