The College was established in 1987 after the name of the national leader of Bangladesh, the oppressed leader of South East Asia. Moulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani. Moulana Bhasani established many educational instituions. No institution was established after his name. During his life time, he rejected to establish any institution after his name. The mentionable colleges after jos estab;osjed were Govt. M.M.Ali college, Tangail. Haji Mohsin college, Bogura. Khandakar Enamul Karim Shahid, a great students leader, the founderpresident of Nationalist students Dal, Along with another great leader, the elected chairman of Elasin union Council, Golam Kibria dreamt of the establishment of a college. A meeting was held by the chair of the gold medalist teacher Babu Madon Mohan Gossami. Golam Kibria proposed to establish a college. Khandaker Enamul karim shahid supported the proposal. All the members agreed to the proposed also. Dhaka Education Board and the ministry of Education affiliated the college in 1988. The college is a Degree college nationally khandaker Enamul Krim Shahid took the . At present the college has achieved one of the greatest positions all the country. The college is free from politics, terrorism and smoking.
