| Brief Background of the College |
Before the establishment of this college there was no other college in this upazilla. Therefore the famous persons of this area became desirous of establishing a college in this locality. Among them B.M.Rahman a famous persons of Kusumpur and another great man of Maddhapara named Jibon Kanai Chakraborty were mentionable to establish this college. The then local M.P. named Jamal uddin Chakraborty help them to establish this college. A famous person named Kunjbihari Banarjee donated land to establish this college. So this college has been named after him. Besides them many other elites of this area also came forward to make the plan a success. Many good students with good results have come out from this college. They are now well establish in many sectors of our country. |
